The Township of Perth South is served by the following three Fire Departments:

Do you know what it means if you see a car or truck with a flashing green light in its window? The flashing green light means that those drivers are volunteer firefighters on their way to an emergency. If you see a vehicle with a flashing green light, please be courteous and yield the right of way.

Open air burning is regulated within the Township. If you wish to do this, you must contact and gain approval from the Chief Fire Official in your fire area. The open air burn must also be in accordance with the conditions set out in the Controlled Burn Permit for Open Air Burning By-Law.
