Green Flashing Light Awareness

Do you know what it means if you see a car or truck with a flashing green light in its window? The flashing green light means that those drivers are volunteer firefighters on their way to an emergency. If you see a vehicle with a flashing green light, please be courteous and yield the right of way.

  • St. Marys Fire Department

Open Air Burning and Controlled Burn Permit Application

Open air burning is regulated within the Township. If you wish to do this, you must contact and gain approval from the Chief Fire Official in your fire area. The open air burn must also be in accordance with the conditions set out in the Controlled Burn Permit for Open Air Burning By-Law. Schedule A of the Open Air burnign by-law outlines the containers allowed for burning.

Controlled Burn Permit Application:

The Township of Perth South receives law enforcement and policing services from the Stratford Police Service (effective November 5, 2018). Non-emergencies where police assistance is required: 519-271-4141 and General inquiries: 519-271-4147.

 

in 2024 Stratford Police Services launched an online Non-Emergency reporting portal. Check out the information provided on this new initiative.
