🚨 Weather Alert for Perth South & Perth County🚨

Attention, everyone! A significant winter storm is forecast to hit Perth County this weekend, with up to 50 cm of snow expected by the end of Monday. Our teams have been working tirelessly since early this morning and will continue their efforts throughout the weekend.

We strongly advise everyone to avoid traveling this weekend as the storm could make roads extremely hazardous and rescue operations difficult. Emergency crews may not be able to reach stranded motorists, posing serious risks to safety. Please stay safe and encourage your friends and family to do the same.

The storm is expected to be particularly severe in Midwestern Ontario and Sault Ste. Marie, with over 100 cm of snow possible by Monday afternoon. While weather conditions can change, we are fully prepared to respond with our complete public works team and seasonal staff.
