The Township of Perth South is recruiting to fill a vacancy on the St. Marys Mobility Bus Service and on the Perth County Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee. These appointments would be valid until the end of the current council term in 2026. See ad here.
If you are interested in getting involved with one of these committees you can download the application form online. You can also obtain an application form by contacting the Municipal Office during regular office hours.

Community Policing Advisory Committee (CPAC) |
The CPAC is comprised of the Mayor or delegate, one member of Council in addition to three citizen appointments. The CPAC meets monthly, except in July, August and December. Please see the Terms of Reference for more information. |
St. Marys Public Library Board |
The Library Board is established in accordance with the Public Libraries Act. To be eligible, members must be 18 years or older, be a Canadian Citizen and a resident of the Township of Perth South. Please see St. Marys Library Board Trustee description for more information. |
Biddulph-Blanshard Fire Board |
The Granton Fire Department is owned jointly with Lucan-Biddulph and the Township of Perth South. This Board meets a few times a year |
Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee |
The Perth County Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee (JAAC) provides guidance and advice to the councils of the County of Perth and Member Municipalities to create a welcoming, inclusive and accessible community.

Fence Viewers |
The Fence Viewers operate in accordance with the Line Fences Act, which sets out the procedure for the resolution of the line fence disputes between the owners of adjoining properties. Fence Viewers do not determine the location of a boundary line. Fence Viewers do not meet regularly |
Livestock Valuers |
Where an owner of livestock or poultry has discovered a death or injury, a Valuer will be directed to make a full investigation and produce a report detailing the damage and Award for the owner. |

Property Standards Committee |
The Property Standards Committee is created in accordance with section 15.6 of the Building Code Act, 1992 (as amended). An "Order to Comply" with the Property Standards By-law issued by a Perth South By-law Enforcement officer may be appealed to this Committee. The Committee is not involved with the day-to-day enforcement of the Property Standards By-law. It does not meet regularly. |
